SERVICES
Given the creative nature of this service, every project is treated individually and given bespoke attention. Pricing is determined on a song by song basis.
NIP'N'TUCK
This is where the song in question is already pretty good and just needs some tweaking in order to live a long and healthy life in the artists repertoire. The Doctor will focus intensely on vocal phrasing, chord substitution and arrangement. The Doctor will record a new demo of the song, along with providing the updated chord chart , lyric sheet and stems of the session.
This service is open to anyone in the world as it does not require the artist to be in the same room as the doctor. It can be all done online.
SURGERY
If the song is showing signs of potential but missing the key elements to bring it to life, the Doctor will perform 'surgery' by pulling the song apart and carefully putting it back together. The Doctor will ascertain the parts of the song that work and write new parts around it to make it one comprehensive body of work with a story you can follow and a catchy hook. In most cases this generally means a new chorus is written to suit the direction of the versus. The Doctor will record a new demo of the song, along with providing the updated chord chart , lyric sheet and stems of the session.
This service is open to anyone in the world as it does not require the artist to be in the same room as the doctor. It can be all done online.
POST OP PRESENTATION
This option can only occur as a further step after having already completed the surgery. The artist will then visit the Doctor in her studio to record the artists vocals on the track. The Doctor will guide the artist through the process in order to get the best vocal possible from the artist and deliver a final demo of the artist singing over the doctors updated instrumental.
PRODUCTION
This is a step that can only occur after completion of the surgery. The artist or band will then go into the studio with the Doctor as producer and record a final 'master' ready for mixing . The Doctor will work with each band member on his or her parts and playing abilities until the magic is on tape and the final recording of the song is complete.
